Two Hospitalized After Evening Crash
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol officials, a collision occurred Monday night involving an Amazon delivery vehicle and another car, sending both operators to medical facilities.
The incident took place after 6 p.m. at the intersection of E County Line Road and Spring Falls Avenue.
Investigators determined that the Amazon van was exiting a private driveway onto the main roadway when an approaching SUV struck its rear section.
"The Amazon van didn't yield the right of way to the SUV," stated a patrol spokesperson.
Medical personnel transported both drivers for treatment, with the SUV operator sustaining more severe injuries according to authorities.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Springfield division continues to examine the circumstances surrounding this traffic incident.
