Law enforcement officials in Armstrong County are appealing to community members for assistance in locating a man who has been reported missing.

Cory Dominic Cook, aged 31, was last observed on Thursday morning at approximately 8 a.m., according to authorities from the Manor Township Police Department. At that time, he was attired in a burgundy-colored hooded sweatshirt along with dark denim jeans.

The most recent communication with Cook occurred via text message early Friday morning around 6:50 a.m. Investigators indicate that Cook likely does not have possession of his mobile device at present.

Cook is described as standing 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a weight ranging between 170 and 190 pounds. He has hazel-colored eyes and brown hair.

Police have disclosed that Cook is experiencing symptoms consistent with paranoid delusions and hallucinations, leading authorities to classify him as being in a potentially dangerous situation.

A vehicle rented by Cook was discovered abandoned near Graff Bridge along the Rails to Trails pathway. The direction of his travel after leaving the vehicle remains undetermined.
