Chicago law enforcement officials are actively pursuing three teenage individuals in connection with a violent incident that occurred on a public transit bus. The attack took place on December 16 at approximately 5:40 p.m. in the 700 block of South Cicero Avenue, as the bus was nearing I-290 from Roosevelt Road.
According to police statements, the assault resulted in the victim requiring extensive medical treatment and ongoing hospital care. Investigators have provided detailed descriptions of the suspects based on surveillance footage: one male in his late teens wearing a blue jacket, another male in his mid-to-late teens in a red jacket with a fur-trimmed hood, and a third male in his early-to-mid teens dressed in a gray jacket with a white hood.
All three individuals are currently wanted on charges of aggravated battery committed on public transportation. As of the latest updates, no arrests have been made while the investigation continues.
