Police Respond to Shooting Incident
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police reported a fatal shooting in south Charlotte early Saturday morning, resulting in one death.
Officers arrived at the 100 block of East Woodlawn Road just after 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, where they discovered a young man with a gunshot wound, according to CMPD statements.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased by medical staff, officials confirmed.
