Hospital Receives Gunshot Victim
In the early hours of Saturday, a young male arrived at Novant Hospital on Hawthorne Lane in southeast Charlotte with a serious gunshot injury. He was dropped off around 3:30 a.m., according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers.
Victim Succumbs to Injuries
The individual, who sustained life-threatening wounds, was later declared deceased at the medical facility. Authorities have not released the victim's identity or further details about his condition.
