On Friday, a grand jury in Montgomery County issued an indictment against a man accused of intentionally setting fire to his former girlfriend's residence. According to police reports, the incident occurred on Ellington Road.

A witness reported seeing a red Chevrolet truck leaving the scene shortly after the suspicious blaze was discovered. The suspect, identified as Jeremy Perkins, now faces multiple criminal charges.

Legal Proceedings Underway

Perkins has been formally charged with two counts of aggravated arson, one count of burglary, and one count of possession of criminal tools. He remains in custody awaiting his next court appearance.

An arraignment hearing has been scheduled for December 23, where Perkins will have the opportunity to enter a plea regarding these allegations.
