Police in Butler Township reported that a woman avoided incarceration following a mail theft case involving multiple locations.

On October 17, 2025, authorities were called to Stoner Drive after receiving reports about a suspicious individual in the neighborhood.

Officers discovered Kirsten Boardwine at the scene. According to the police department, she possessed "a large amount of stolen mail from over 15 addresses around Butler Township and Harrison Township."

Boardwine faced multiple charges, including nine counts of receiving stolen property, six counts of theft of mail, two additional counts of receiving stolen property, and one count of counterfeiting.

In late October, she entered guilty pleas for all charges. The court sentenced her to five years of probation, as confirmed by the department.
