On Sunday, emergency crews in Beersheba responded to a residential fire in the Ein Gedi area, successfully extracting six individuals from the scene.
According to Israel's Fire and Rescue Authority, the operation involved rescuing occupants from two different levels of the building. Four people were brought to safety from the seventh floor, while two others, one of them a baby, were saved from the eighth floor.
Magen David Adom reported that all six were transported to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The organization noted they were in stable condition upon arrival.
Medical Concerns Following Rescue
MDA further indicated that the rescued individuals exhibited symptoms related to smoke inhalation, prompting thorough medical checks.
