Friday Shooting Incident Under Investigation
On Friday, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office mobilized to address a serious assault reported on Pansy Avenue. Authorities received the call shortly before noon, prompting deputies to investigate a shooting incident.
At the location, law enforcement discovered a 38-year-old male suffering from a gunshot injury. The sheriff's office stated that the victim was transported via ambulance to a medical facility and remained in critical condition as of Friday evening.
Photos released by the sheriff's office from the scene showed multiple evidence markers placed in the roadway. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed, and no suspect has been identified at this time.
