Central Florida experienced pleasant conditions over the weekend, but meteorological adjustments are on the horizon as Christmas week commences.
Tonight, a cold front will move through the region, leaving behind some cloudiness. Overnight temperatures are forecast to dip into the upper 50s.
On Monday, northeasterly winds will follow the frontal passage, leading to greater cloud coverage and the possibility of light rain showers along the coast. Daytime highs are projected to reach the upper 70s.
By Tuesday, winds are anticipated to diminish, which should keep precipitation away from land. Skies are likely to be partly cloudy, with temperatures again in the upper 70s.
Christmas Eve is expected to maintain partly cloudy and dry weather. Highs will be in the upper 70s, cooling to the 60s in the evening.
For Christmas Day, the forecast calls for warm and dry conditions across the area. Morning lows will start in the upper 50s, rising to afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
The pattern of warm and calm weather is likely to persist into Friday and through the following weekend.
