Double Homicide Under Investigation
Authorities from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are currently examining a tragic incident involving two fatalities that took place on Saturday in the 800 block of Farmhurst Drive.
Initial Reports and Clarification
Earlier, police communications indicated separate homicide investigations in the 100 block of East Woodlawn Road and the 200 block of Hawthorne Lane. However, further inquiry led detectives to conclude that both individuals were fatally shot simultaneously during a single event.
On Sunday, officials stated that ongoing investigative efforts confirmed the victims were shot at the same time during the same incident.
Victims Identified
The deceased have been named as 18-year-old Samir Canales Molina and 16-year-old Bravlio Galeano Ayala.
