A significant fire broke out in a residence on Woodworth Road in Needham during the early hours of Christmas Eve, causing dense smoke to spread across the area.
Emergency Response and Missing Individual
Around 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, the fire prompted a large-scale response, with seventy-five firefighters from seven different towns arriving to combat the blaze and manage smoke conditions.
Needham Fire Chief Thomas Conroy stated, "One resident inside the home is missing at this time but that crews haven’t been able to search the entirety of the building because firefighters were still actively fighting the fire."
Two occupants of the home successfully evacuated and are safe.

The Massachusetts State Fire Marshal has advised residents to ensure their fire alarms and smoke detectors are functioning properly.
