Recent Coyote Incidents in Wrentham
Authorities in a Massachusetts community have issued a public alert following coyote attacks that resulted in the deaths of two dogs over the past week.
According to Wrentham Police Chief Bill McGrath, the targeted pets were "smaller-sized" dogs left alone outdoors during nighttime or early morning hours. "Please take precautions when letting your dogs out. Take them out on a leash or, at least, be out there with them," McGrath stated in a social media announcement. "Bottom line is, do not let them out unattended. Look online for other helpful suggestions."
The first attack occurred near Thurston Street close to the Foxboro border, while a second incident took place in the Creek Street area.
Police emphasize that no further information is currently available regarding these events.
