Deadly Neighborhood Dispute in Fresno
On Tuesday evening, a violent incident occurred in the central area of Fresno, resulting in one fatality. According to law enforcement reports, the victim succumbed to injuries sustained during the shooting.
The Fresno Police Department confirmed that they have apprehended a suspect in connection with this homicide. The arrest took place following the event, which unfolded near the intersection of Clinton Avenue and Bond Street.
Authorities identified the deceased as Mark Tarasevic, aged 64. The individual taken into custody is John Gentry, 74, who resides in the same vicinity. Police records indicate Gentry has been charged with murder and is currently held at the Fresno County Jail.
Investigators have not disclosed specific details regarding the circumstances that precipitated the gunfire. The shooting was reported to have happened around 6 pm.
