An Orlando resident has secured a $1 million prize from a scratch-off ticket, as confirmed by the Florida Lottery.
Jeaquelinne Lizarazo, aged 56, claimed her winnings on December 8 from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game. She decided to take a one-time lump-sum payment of $640,000.
The winning ticket was bought at a Publix store situated at 5240 W. State Road 46 in Orlando.
The Florida Lottery reminds participants to verify their tickets, as many substantial prizes are still awaiting claimants.
