Traffic Disruption on Interstate 95
A significant traffic incident has resulted in the shutdown of Interstate 95's southbound direction in Northeast Philadelphia.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the collision occurred at approximately 10 a.m. on Friday. The incident took place in the southbound lanes close to the Academy Road exit.
All southbound traffic is currently blocked between Exit 32, which serves Academy Road, and Exit 30 for Cottman Avenue.
Officials are urging drivers to seek alternate routes and steer clear of the affected section of the highway.
