Distillery Operations Update

Beam Suntory, the producer of the well-known Kentucky bourbon Jim Beam, will temporarily halt production at its primary distillery facility beginning in January 2026. This decision was confirmed by company representatives on December 21.

During this period, the distillery situated on the James B. Beam campus in Clermont will be non-operational as the company plans to implement various site enhancements. "We are always assessing production levels to best meet consumer demand and recently met with our team to discuss our volumes for 2026," stated officials in an official communication.

While the main facility undergoes upgrades, the Fred B. Noe craft distillery in Clermont will continue its operations throughout 2026. Additionally, production will proceed without interruption at the Booker Noe distillery located in Boston, Kentucky.

The Clermont campus will maintain accessibility for visitors, with its visitor center and The Kitchen Table restaurant remaining open during the entire year of 2026.

No workforce reductions are anticipated in connection with this temporary closure. Beam Suntory currently has approximately 1,000 employees based in Kentucky.
