Authorities in King County have successfully wrapped up a major drug investigation that targeted a distribution network with connections to the Sinaloa Cartel.
The operation, known as "Operation Eastbound and Down – The Last Chapter," built upon an initial probe launched in November 2025. Over recent weeks, the King County Sheriff's Office Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team spearheaded the final phase.

- 214 pounds of methamphetamine
- 5 pounds of heroin
- $89,780 in suspected drug money
- One individual was arrested and is being held on $1 million bail at the Snohomish County Jail
The narcotics have an estimated street value of around $2 million.
Overall, the entire Operation Eastbound and Down investigation has yielded:

- 22 pounds of fentanyl powder
- 2.87 pounds of cocaine
