The Massachusetts State Lottery has issued a reminder for ticket holders to verify their numbers, as two substantial awards from January 2025 remain uncollected. Time is limited to claim these funds.

Details of Unclaimed Awards

One unclaimed prize is a $100,000 Mass Cash award. The winning ticket was sold at West Main Gas & Diesel on 577 West Main St. in Hyannis. The drawing occurred on January 20, 2025, with the numbers 10-16-17-18-31. The deadline to claim this prize is January 21, 2026.

Another is a $50,000 Powerball prize. The ticket was purchased at Morrissey Boulevard Wines & Liquors, located at 711 Morrissey Blvd. in Dorchester. The drawing date was January 18, 2025, and the winning combination was 14-31-35-64-69 with Powerball 23. This must be claimed by January 20, 2026.

Lottery regulations allow winners one year from the drawing date to collect their prizes. Unclaimed money after this period contributes to the Lottery's net profits, which are distributed across all 351 municipalities in Massachusetts.

Claim Procedures

For awards up to $103,000, winners can visit Lottery claim centers in Braintree, Dorchester, Lawrence, New Bedford, West Springfield, and Worcester. Prizes exceeding $103,000 require a visit to the Lottery headquarters in Dorchester.
