Alert Canceled for Missing Urbana Woman
The Champaign County Communications Center has called off the Endangered Missing Adult Alert that was previously activated.
Initial Report Details
Authorities had issued an alert for Ruth Watts, a 70-year-old resident of Urbana. She was last observed walking away from her residence on E. Court Street around 6:30 a.m. and had not come back.
Watts stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.
When last seen, she was dressed in a black hooded coat, black shorts, and either a yellow or red top. It is believed she was not wearing any footwear.
Anyone with information regarding her location was urged to contact emergency services at 911 or the Champaign County Communications Center directly.
