In a separate drawing from the main Powerball numbers, a ticket purchased in New Jersey secured a $500,000 prize during Saturday's Double Play event.

The winning ticket was acquired through the Jackpocket mobile application by a participant from Essex County.

Additionally, ten other tickets sold in the state each earned $50,000 in the same Saturday drawing.

With no one claiming the grand prize, the jackpot for Monday night's draw has escalated to an estimated $1.6 billion, which corresponds to a cash option of approximately $735.3 million.

The New Jersey winner correctly selected all five white balls in the Double Play, where the maximum prize is $10 million.

For an extra dollar, players can enter Double Play to gain another opportunity to win using their Powerball numbers.

The primary Powerball numbers drawn on Saturday were 4, 5, 28, 52, and 69, with the Powerball at 20 and a multiplier of 3.

For the Double Play, the numbers were 5, 8, 19, 23, and 43, and the Double Play ball was 6.

In the main drawing, eight New Jersey players each won $50,000 by matching four white balls and the Powerball.

Two more players each won $50,000 in the Double Play by matching four white balls and the Double Play ball.

This jackpot sequence started on September 6, following a $1.8 billion prize shared by winners in Missouri and Texas.
