On Monday morning, a shooting incident occurred at the Frankford Transit Center located in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood.

The event took place shortly before 9 a.m. along the 5200 block of Frankford Avenue.

According to SEPTA police authorities, they were alerted to a physical confrontation that had erupted within the transit center's lobby area.

Upon arrival at the location, officers discovered two wounded individuals present at the site.

One victim was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by SEPTA police personnel, while the other was taken to Temple University Hospital by Philadelphia police officers.

The current medical status of both individuals remains unclear at this time.

Law enforcement officials have stated that no suspects have been apprehended in connection with the incident, and no firearms have been located as part of the investigation.
