Incident on Interstate 75
Early Saturday morning, a Miamisburg Police Department officer was conducting a traffic stop on Interstate 75 when an unexpected collision occurred.
According to a city spokesperson, the incident took place around 2:40 a.m. on the northbound on-ramp from State Route 725.
During the stop, a passing vehicle struck the parked police cruiser.
No Injuries Reported
Fortunately, neither the officers involved nor the occupants of the other vehicle sustained any injuries.
The spokesperson described the damage to the police vehicle as "very minor."
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation into the crash.
