Silver Alert Issued for Missing Senior

On Friday, a Silver Alert was activated in Watauga County for a 73-year-old man who is living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.

Law enforcement officials are seeking Cameron Ross, who was last observed leaving his workplace at the Harris Teeter grocery store in Boone. He is believed to be traveling in a silver 2012 Ford Expedition bearing North Carolina license plate JKM2499.

Ross was reportedly wearing a red Harris Teeter work shirt over a black long-sleeved shirt, along with black slacks and work shoes at the time of his disappearance. He is described as being 6 feet 1 inch tall, with brown hair and green eyes.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding his location to contact the Boone Police Department immediately.
