Homeowner Takes Action Against Intruders
On Saturday afternoon, a couple was away from their residence on Mammoth Avenue when several individuals scaled the fence to enter the property.
The wife's mother, who was inside the house at the time, immediately contacted them to report the break-in.
Upon receiving the call, the woman hurried back home. She arrived just as the suspects were approaching their parked vehicle and deliberately collided with it using her Mercedes-Benz. Surveillance footage captured the impact, which caused the sedan to mount the curb.
Following the crash, three individuals were observed fleeing the scene on foot.
Law enforcement officers from the Los Angeles Police Department later examined the abandoned car. Inside, they discovered a wallet containing identification, a red crowbar, and a walkie-talkie set to monitor police communications.
