Fatal Shooting Claims Life of Young Teen
In Goldsboro, a tragic event unfolded on December 21 at 4:35 p.m., when law enforcement was alerted to gunfire in the 200 block of Alpha Court.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 13-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound. She was declared deceased at the location.
Authorities have taken into custody a 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds as suspects in this case. They are charged with first-degree murder and felony conspiracy.
The investigation is being handled by the Goldsboro Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division.
