Seattle law enforcement officials have taken three individuals into custody following a retail theft incident at a shopping center.
Details of the Arrest
Authorities conducted an operation at University Village on Tuesday evening, resulting in the apprehension of the suspects. One of those detained is a 28-year-old with prior convictions for assault and robbery.
Police observed the felon and another person attempting to take items from a Victoria's Secret store within the mall.
During the incident, the convicted individual fled through the parking area before being captured, while the accomplice managed to evade arrest.
Recovered Items and Additional Arrests
Officers retrieved merchandise worth $759 that had been stolen. Earlier that same evening, two women were also arrested for stealing $173 in goods from the identical store.
The 28-year-old was charged with theft and obstruction and is now held at King County Jail. All individuals involved have been banned from the store premises.
