The collision took place at approximately 7:45 a.m. at the store located on Lynnfield Street. According to Peabody Deputy Fire Chief Daniel Dean, an older female driver struck a concrete post situated close to the building's entryway.

Following the impact, emergency personnel secured the area with caution tape. Debris, including dislodged bricks, was visible on the sidewalk from the scene.

Structural Assessment and Investigation

Deputy Chief Dean mentioned that the building would undergo an evaluation to check for any structural damage. Authorities do not anticipate filing charges in connection with the event.
