On December 23, a fatal shooting occurred in the Walnut Hills neighborhood, resulting in the death of a woman, as confirmed by Cincinnati police authorities.
Police Response and Investigation
Law enforcement officers were called to the 2600 block of Park Avenue at approximately 6 p.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered Tekeya McCollum, aged 31, with gunshot wounds.
Despite immediate efforts to provide medical aid, McCollum succumbed to her injuries and was declared deceased at the location. Police have not yet identified any suspects or disclosed further details about the circumstances.
