The accident was first reported at approximately 3:45 a.m. on the northbound lanes near the interchange with the 118 Freeway. By around 9 a.m., the California Highway Patrol announced that the freeway would remain closed for an additional three hours to manage the situation.
Witnesses observed packages from the truck spilled across the roadway, though it remains uncertain if there were any injuries resulting from the collision.
