Festive Beverages Brighten Holiday Season at Canandaigua Lake

The holiday season brings various joys to Canandaigua, NY, from sparkling decorations to children's excitement about gifts. Festive drinks add to the cheer, offering ways to celebrate and reflect on the passing year.

At the Lake House on Canandaigua, director of food and beverage Michael Lischak notes that seasonal cocktails have become popular. "The overall Christmas and holiday atmosphere really drives people to want to try something different and something more seasonal than they normally would," Lischak said.

Seasonal Specialties at the Lake House

The White Christmas Mojito and Santa's Manhattan are among the holiday offerings. These drinks are crafted for enjoyment in the resort's decorated Willow Room, which features a fireplace for a cozy setting.

The White Christmas Mojito combines white rum, mint, lime, coconut, and club soda. Other options include the Sip Like Santa with sparkling wine and pomegranate liqueur, Jingle Fizz with gin, cranberry, lemon, and rosemary, and Santa's Manhattan with bourbon, Living Roots muscat, and walnut.

"The holiday Manhattan for sure is my favorite out of all of them," Lischak remarked. These cocktails are available for $15 each through the New Year's holiday.
